Senior Citizens
We provide a social atmosphere for personal interaction and education.
Meetings:
- Board - 1st Tuesday of the month at 12:30 pm
- Regular - 2nd Tuesday of the month - 12:00 noon with lunch
Coffee 'n at 7:30 am - 10:30 am Monday - Saturday. Card games, puzzles, pool, Wii available.
Senior Meals through AEOA are available Monday - Friday with advance registrations.
BINGO on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 1:00 pm
Garbage BINGO every Thursday @ 1:00 pm
Potluck and movie the 4th Sunday of the month at 3:00 pm, public welcome
BINGO at Central Manor on the 3rd Friday on the month at 1:00 pm
The rooms are available for gatherings (birthday, anniversary, reunions, etc.) and meetings, such as VFW, Lions, MS Support, Cancer Support, etc. The Seniors also make great use of the exercise equipment in the gymnasium of the Municipal Center. The Municipal Center also serves as a great "walking" track for those who wish to walk indoors during inclimate weather.
Fund Raisers:
- Harvest Festival in October - lunch, quilt raffle, bake sale, white elephant table. Tables are available for vendors.
- Pancake Breakfast for Veteran's Day and St Urho's Day
Our Seniors arrange two bus trips a year and other outings. Contact them for details.
