About our Campground

Welcome to Northeastern Minnesota's newest Campground & RV Park, nestled amongst the pine trees in Babbitt, Minnesota. At Babbitt Camgpround & RV Park, we offer full hook up sites, a full-service shower house/restroom, a camp store that offers firewood, ice, soft drinks, ice cream, camping supplies, apparel, and more! Our facilties also house a fish cleaning house and extra parking for boat trailers and ATVs. We opened for our inagural season in 2023 and are very excited for our next seasons to come.

The Campground is located within walking distance to Birch Lake and Babbitt's public beach, Heartland ATV Trail, and a paved bike path to allow easy access to leisure activities such as fishing, boating, ATVing, swimming, or just enjoying the nature of the woods. Although located at the "end of the road," we are only a short drive to many of the area's attractions like the International Wolf Center, the North American Bear Center, the Dorothy Molter Meuseum, muliple golf courses, restaurants, and local shopping.

Meet Our Hosts

Karissa LePine has been serving in the MN Army National Guard on active duty for the past 20 years and is now retiring and entering a more quite life, to be spent with our campers in Babbitt, MN. Her and her husband have raised two kids together and have recently welcomed their first grandchild, and are very excited to be back near Karissa's hometown of Ely, MN.

The two are "over the moon" about joining our great campground and hosting their first season in May of 2026. As outdoor enthusiasts, the pair look forward to meeting our campers and hosting events for all to enjoy. If you have any ideas or recommendations, don't hesitate to contact your staff.

Photographed in the background is Karissa's mother, Luanne, who will be filling in on an as-needed basis and helping around the campground as well.
